"Cozy nook has small huts without bathroom and large cottages with Bathrooms. Cozy Nook is a hippy nouveau Palolem Institution. Balconies, eating areas and the interior of some huts have been created using concrete shapes and rocks to remove dull corners and straight walls, and add colour and shape. Walls that aren't already vibrantly tiled are covered with interesting wall hangings. Other assets of Cozy Nook are its Restaurant and its location between a lake and an ocean"
The Rough Guide - Nov 2005
"North end of the beach, near the island. One of the most attractive setups in the village, comprising 25 bamboo huts (sharing seven toilets, but with good mattresses, mozzie nets, safe lockers and fans) opening onto the lagoon on one side and the beach on the other - an unbeatable spot"
"Best place on Palolem Beach"
reviewed 20 Mar 2014

Tucked away at the north end of Palolem Beach the Nook is set in an amazing quiet location amongst the palm trees. It was my fifth stay in six years and the charm of the place and the staff has still not faded. There are a range of huts to suit whatever budget you are on and are all of a high standard, with the front huts facing the beach particularly beautiful, designed with a Rajastan influence. The staff are all helpful, friendly and create a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant serves up many Indian delights, local Goan cuisine and serve the best breakfast and as for the tandoor in the evening it is in my mind the best tandoori chicken/fish on the beach. The general atmosphere is relaxed and before you know it you've extended your stay there. It is a very hard place to leave!!

"Best part of the beach, Clean huts"
Reviewed 8 January 2014

Cozy Nook is definitely on the best part of the beach. Spacious with beach and river right outside your door. We stayed in Hut 1 and loved it. Huge hut with your own bathroom and upstairs area with chairs and daybed. Filled with Indian furniture and a king size bed with netting. It was very clean as well. The only thing that I didn't really like was how close the bathroom was to the next huts verandah - you couldn't see in but it just felt weird being in there if there were people on the verandah. Rihanna and all the staff were great, even if the service was a little slow sometimes but you've got all day so who really cares!! On Xmas day Aggie (the owner) prepared a Xmas dinner for us all that was delicious. Very generous of him. Definitely hire a kayak from Dominic and go explore the nearby island.

"A little piece of paradise"

Having managed to get to cozy nook, taxis and rickshaws are unable to drop you to the door (it's a short walk along the beach or a few minutes walk from the road) we were absolutely thrilled. The huts were absolutely wonderful, the decoration in the huts and in the cozy nook area was fantastic. Situated right on the beach, next to the river and surrounded by Palm trees. The rooms are basic but have got everything you could need. (If you are looking for a plush 5 star resort with constant hot water and air con maybe not) but there are fans and electric points, hot water for an hour a day, western style toilets, a good shower and comfy bed with mosquito net all in an idyllic setting. The staff are helpful, the food is delicious, the resort is clean, the views are amazing and the price is fantastic. I have no doubts that I will be returning here at some time in the future.

"Palolem's best: amazing location, amazing people!"

After some bad experiences in Goa we finally found our paradise: COZY NOOK! The place at the very end of the beach right in front of a little island is wonderful and peaceful, with an amazing view due to the fact that your cabin is in front of the beach! The rooms are very clean, extremely cute and very well decorated with pretty and functional moskito nets. The fans and the sea breeze keep you cooler and more comfortable than AC. The best part about this place is the owner. An amazing, sincere and friendly person. He generously offers advice about places when we ask, and is always ready to go on a night-kayak trip. He even offered us coffee when we wake up and cooked a going-away dinner for two guests who stayed at the hotel and invited everyone. We were here during the low season so he was able to spend time with us. He is the first person who, when we asked the cost for one night, gave us a lower price than the one in Lonely Planet because the tourist season is over. If you want to relax, chill, have good conversations, laugh and smile, with the most beautiful view in Goa: go here! You won't be disappointed.

This was my second visit to Goa, the first being to Anjuna but having discovered Palolem and more importantly Cozy Nook have found somewhere that will always have a special place in my heart. It really is a beautiful place with the most gorgeous setting at the far end of the beach, the huts are all individual and well looked after with quirky authentic style. What really makes this place so enjoyable though, is the staff, Agi is the perfect host and a unique character and his sister Meena always has a smile and nothing is too much trouble for her, likewise with all the guys who work the bar and the restaurant which delivers amazing food! OK so maybe the service not the quickest but who're on holiday and when the food arrives it's delicious and served with a great big smile! Really have nothing bad to say about this place, and know I will be returning as soon as possible....It really is the most romantic and magical place!

"Best place we've stayed in Palolem"
Reviewed 25 April 2013

Our fifth stay at Palolem and we have finally found the best huts for us! Maybe the bathrooms at Cozy are even more basic than some other huts on the beach, but that's all part of the magic - Cozy is beautifully located at the quietest end of the beach; it is a very friendly, happy place where nothing is too much trouble. The cottages are clean, spacious, airy and have lovely views; the food is very good with lots of choice and we never found the service slow. It is just a very relaxed place, laid back, incredibly chilled - and if you like your holiday accommodation to include a hot power shower, fluffy towels, maid service and a Michelin starred restaurant, you definitely should go somewhere else because that's not what escaping to Palolem is all about! We can't wait to be back there again next year ..
